Background

Trainer Donte Howell is a highly accomplished former collegiate basketball player and decorated athlete. A standout at Baldwin High School, he was a two-year starter and two-time All-Conference Player of the Year before continuing his career at Mount Saint Mary College. As a three-year starter, Donte finished in the program’s top 10 in points, assists, and steals, while leading his team to an ECAC Metro Championship and earning multiple honors, including All-Skyline Conference and All-Met Division III recognition. He concluded his collegiate career as a 1,000-point scorer and was later inducted into the Mount Saint Mary College Athletic Hall of Fame in 2021.

Donte also gained international experience, winning MVP at a championship tournament in Italy. Today, he brings his elite playing experience and leadership to developing the next generation of athletes.
